Charlene was born and raised in Angono, Rizal, Philippines where she was taught photojournalism and editorial cartooning throughout her grade and secondary school years, her family eventually moved to Alberta, Canada.

At fourteen she would teach herself manual digital photography and practice the art of point-and-shoot during family gatherings or hang-outs with friends.

People would contact her looking for portrait and event work through the years until she finally turned her passion behind the lens into a chosen profession today.

"The idea of shifting my photography into a full-blown business solidified when I had my daughter in 2016. She is my dearest muse and my journey as a mother and its candid take on life fuels my work. Veintitres was founded thereafter and a versatile vision started."

Charlene now lives in a small Acadian community; Clare, Nova Scotia, with her fiancé and their busy toddler where she enjoys collecting books, hobbies, recipes, records, and plants when not hanging out with her gear or editing. She is also an industry partner with Boostflow, a web design agency located in Yarmouth, NS.

Fascinated by the versatility of photography and human nature, her work generates genuine and unique images.

A well-rounded lifestyle and documentary style photographer who is inspired by emotions, muted light, and rich colours.
